What do I need to bring on the boat?

You only need to bring yourself, lunch and sunscreen. Hooks and Ladders provides everything to fish which includes bait, tackle, licensure, ice etc.

How many people can come on the charter?

The max number of anglers allowed to fish off of the boat is 4. The boat is plenty big enough to accommodate 4 comfortably.

When is the best time of year to go fishing?

Since Tampa Bay is such a diverse eco system, fishing is great all year around. Summer time the snapper bite is on fire! Winter time the sheepshead are spawning inshore. Snook redfish and trout are always around! I guess the real question is, when is there a bad time to go fishing?

Do I need a fishing License?

No, Hooks and Ladders has a fishing license that covers up to 4 people anglers at one time.

Is the boat kid friendly?

Yes, the boat has high gunnels (sides) which prevents young kids and children from being able to fall out of the boat.
